Coot
A black waterbird with characteristic white bill and forehead patch, red eye, and feathery white feet. They are common across many waterways, lakes and reservoirs across London. Coots build nests from litter and detritus, often mixing it with natural vegetation. They are very territorial and often aggressive to other birds.
